About HARC

Henryetta Amateur Radio Club — serving our community since day one

Who we are

Amateur radio for Henryetta and Okmulgee County

HARC is an ARRL affiliated amateur radio club and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Henryetta, Okmulgee County, and surrounding communities. Our members enjoy experimenting with radio, building and maintaining local infrastructure, and providing communications support when it is needed most.

HARC is a member of the Oklahoma Repeater Society Inc. (ORSI), and our club includes ARRL‑associated Volunteer Examiners and several trained SKYWARN Storm Spotters. Many of our members also volunteer with Okmulgee County Emergency Management.

We are currently developing the KJ5MLB 2‑meter repeater and a Meshtastic node at a tower site to strengthen local communications and expand coverage. HARC is committed to mentoring new operators, helping people get licensed, and providing ongoing training and activities for hams at every experience level.
